Patron Systems Project Team Wins $4.4 Million Contract With Nashville Police
Patron Systems will participate in building one of the largest information management and criminal justice sharing networks in the Southeast
Boulder, CO—Patron Systems, a leading provider of enterprise software to create, manage and share electronic forms and messages, announced today its involvement in the win of a 14 month, $4.4 million contract with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD). The contract is for a partnership, spearheaded by Advanced Technologies Systems, Inc. (ATS) that will build an Advanced Records Management System (ARMS), that once complete, will serve more than 80 regional agencies as one of the largest information management and criminal justice sharing networks in the Southeast. Patron Systems was awarded a place in the partnership due to the company's expertise in the area of e-forms technology.
Patron Systems will apply its FormStream Mobile solution to help construct the automated field-reporting component of the ARMS system. FormStream is used by law enforcement and public safety entities to substitute paper forms with secure electronic forms for automated field report-ing. The FormStream solution automates the form-filing process by providing secure electronic form creation, movement, and management capabilities. FormStream Mobile extends the power of FormStream to remote PC's and will automate incident reporting for MNPD officers in the field.
"We are very excited to bring our FormStream Mobile advanced field reporting technology to the Nashville PD. Now, officers will be more able to focus on crime and not on completing reports in the field," said Patron Systems COO Braden Waverley. "As subcontractors to our friends at ATS, Patron Systems will focus on field reporting and how police working in the streets can save time, increase their own safety and ultimately make Nashville a safer community."
Patron Systems is involved in a partnership with four other companies working together to com-plete the ARMS project. These companies include Advanced Technology Systems, Inc. who is the lead contractor on the project and will oversee information systems, Denali Solutions who will oversee records management, Omega Group who will oversee geographic information sys-tems, and DataWorks Plus who will oversee web-based mug-shot capture and retrieval.
