Ease Your Traffic Data Analysis With New EZ Stat™ Software and SpeedSpy™ Solutions
 DECATUR, IL - Decatur Electronics introduced in February a new software application and product that ease speed data gathering while alleviating budget constraints for local police agencies.
The new EZ Stat Pak™ and its companion product, Speed Spy™, provide low cost alternatives for targeting speed and traffic information and then analyzing it for safety purposes with easy to read and understand reports.
The EZ Stat is a serial module flash memory system that works with Decatur Electronics radars. Application uses include normal traffic areas, neighborhood watch programs, closed-gate communities, school zones and construction zones. The Windows based technology can be used to analyze traffic needs for determining when to assign police officers. It provides complete data logging and converts the data to easily interpreted traffic, speed and flow pattern reports.
The SpeedSpy packages the EZ Stat with Decatur radars as a covert process for monitoring radar speed trailers or enforcement measures. The watertight device is discretely mounted in targeted areas and monitors traffic, speed and flow patterns. Reports generated aid police agencies in determining whether LED displays of vehicle speeds or regular police enforcement efforts have been effective in reducing speeds in certain areas.
