Agencies Can Host RRB Systems Classes

Rapid Cuff and Rapid Rotation Baton Instructor Schools

We are currently setting our 2006/07 training schedule for the original RRB Rapid Rotation Baton and Rapid-Cuff. You can host RRB Systems International at your agency by supplying a training site and advertising the course to your local agencies. There is no monetary commitment from you, just a little time and planning. For your effort you'll receive two free spots in each training course to include all of the equipment and course training materials. Summary:
The Rapid-Cuff is an evolution of the age old handcuff design. With its solid center grip, it can be used for control as well as restraint, making it a formidable defensive weapon against attacks from handcuffed prisoners. Using leverage as the defensive mechanism, assaultive and resistant subjects are taken into control quickly and without injury. Very little strength is required to use the handcuff with excellent results. On the streets or in the prisons the Rapid- Cuff™ is one piece of belt equipment that you simply should not be without.

Topics Include:

  • Handcuff Nomenclature
  • Drawing the Rapid-Cuff
  • Proper Placement
  • Standing, Kneeling and Prone cuffing methods
  • Standard and Stacked handcuffing
  • Proper Removal
  • Defensive Response to Assaultive behavior
