Streamlight® Introduces Enhanced Stylus LED Flashlight

New Stylus ProTM LED Penlight is Twice as Powerful as Original Stylus Model

EAGLEVILLE, PA.— Streamlight® Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance flashlights, has introduced the Streamlight Stylus ProTM LED, a brighter and more powerful version of its popular Stylus penlight, designed to give law enforcement professionals increased features and visibility.

The new, ultra-compact penlight pairs a .5-Watt High-Flux LED with the company's proprietary Micro Optical System (MOS) technology to deliver exceptionally bright light - more than twice the output of the original Stylus - while also optimizing runtime.

"The Stylus Pro packs an extraordinary punch in terms of the bright light it delivers, especially for its compact size," said Streamlight Chief Operating Officer Ray Sharrah. "It's the ideal secondary light for law officers carry in their pocket for close-up work, such as routine traffic stops, or as a back-up to a larger flashlight," said Sharrah.

More compact than the original Stylus, the Stylus Pro measures just 5.3 inches and weighs 1.64 ounces. The .5 Watt, 30,000-hour lifetime High Flux LED provides an output of up to 24 Lumens and offers a continuous regulated runtime of 7.5 hours. The Stylus Pro uses two easily obtainable "AAA" alkaline batteries, and employs a push-button tailcap switch for easy, single-handed operation.

The Stylus Pro is constructed of durable machined aluminum with an anodized finish, and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with scratch resistant coating. An internal polymer body liner and shockproof switch housing allows the Stylus Pro to operate under the most extreme conditions and a multiple O-Ring sealing ensures waterproof performance.

The Stylus Pro retails for $29.95, and includes a tear-resistant nylon holster and unbreakable pocket clip, as well as Streamlight's Limited-Lifetime Warranty.
