OpTac International 2007/2008 Schedule Now Available
OpTac International provides professional programs customized to meet the operational objectives of law enforcement and military agencies worldwide. Our Tactical Breaching Instructor Program is recognized as the leader in ensuring effective breaching solutions and teaching protocols. This program is designed to teach advanced breaching skills and properly prepare officers to instruct law enforcement and military personnel in this area.
A strong emphasis is placed on the development of a tactical breaching plan and the following breaching methods: ram, pry bar, hydraulic pump, and ballistic/shotgun. An overview of explosive entry techniques and exothermic torches are presented. In addition, breaching reconnaissance, training and operational safety standards/protocol, identification of locking mechanisms, innovative breaching equipment, and advanced instructional techniques are covered.
