AgileMesh, Inc. Launches The Quick Deploy Drop Car Kit
Wireless Technology from AgileMesh Enables On-The-Fly Investigative Video Surveillance For Situations Where Speed and Ease-of-Use Are Critical
DALLAS, TX—AgileMesh today announced the release of its Drop Car Kit. This system enables non-technical operators to quickly deploy and monitor surveillance in numerous covert and overt scenarios.
The base system consists of three of AgileMesh’s AV4510 base kits. Each of the base kits is packed in a customized Pelican case and includes the core AV1510 node (transmit/receive/relay unit) with a selection of appropriate antennas, two cameras – one color bullet camera and one black and white low-light pinhole camera, and power options to allow the device to run on provided battery, AC, or DC (cigarette lighter plug).
This system is designed to provide a quick, non-line-of-sight surveillance set-up. The entirely wireless, mesh-based system is far more secure, flexible and rapidly-deployable than other wired or line-of-sight wireless systems. Cameras can be deployed in drop-cars, in buildings, or in any of dozens of other scenarios. If a particular situation requires use of other types of cameras, any analog or digital (IP) camera can be used instead of those provided. Monitoring (and optional recording) is done on any Windows-based laptop plugged into one of the included AV1510 nodes.
