Phoenix Area Police Department Selects Presynct Technologies for Incident Reporting

Presynct Incident Reporting Tool Takes Apache Junction Police Department From a Manual Reporting System to a Paperless System; Makes Police Officers More Efficient

San Francisco, Ca.—Presynct Technologies, Inc. a leading provider of affordable Incident Reporting Systems geared toward the law enforcement industry, today announced that the Apache Junction Police Department has selected the Presynct Report Network to provide police officers with greater flexibility with their reporting processes, resulting in valuable time savings for officers in the field.

The Department, which is located in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, selected Presynct’s state-of-the-art digital incident reporting software as a way of increasing efficiencies in the incident report writing process. Now, police officers can file reports in the field from their patrol cars, instead of having to go back and forth to the police station to file reports.

Before selecting Presynct last year, department officials went through an extensive evaluation process. They needed a system that was easy to learn and was compatible to their other IT systems, including a records management system and a computer aided dispatch system.

“Presynct provides our officers with dozens of benefits, including saving officers valuable time that they can use patrolling the streets instead of driving back and forth to the station to finalize reports,” said Jay Swart, commander, Apache Junction Police Department. “Now, our officers can fill out reports and submit them directly from the patrol car.”

The Department is rolling out the Presynct Report Network department wide. Previously, the department had a manual process that was a mix of hand written reports and non- standardized computer generated reports.

“Apache Junction was looking for a way to take their reporting process paperless, while saving officers valuable time in the field,” said Tim Pakes, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Presynct. “With the Presynct Report Network, officers are now freed up to spend more time in the community instead of filing manual reports.”
