Blackhawk! Introduces the ZW5 and ZW7 Waterproof Side-Zip Boots

NORFOLK, VA –Blackhawk! is expanding their successful boot line for 2008 with the Side-Zip waterproof boot in 5 or 7 inch height to suit any mission available early in 2008.

Tactical operators and Law Enforcement officers need to react to any call quickly. The new Blackhawk! ZW5 and ZW7 are fast, lightweight,comfortable, and waterproof answer to that call. Built on a Vibram® “Multisport” oil resistant TC4+ compound outer sole with large, open lugs forexcellent traction over debris or irregular surfaces, the Side-Zip boots also feature a long-wearing, water-friendly PU mid-sole. The Cordura® and full-grain leather upper have a waterproof SympaTex® barrier and gusseted tongue with a durable easy-to use- molded tooth zipper opening on the side. The toe and heel have rubberized reinforcements. Although waterproof, the ZW5 and ZW7 allow the foot to breathe with an Ortholite® custom molded foot bedthat is both washable and anti-microbial. The unique open cell structure of the foot bed provides for 95 to 100%breathability for maximum ventilation inand around the foot while creating a cooler environment inside the boot. A Dri-Lex® inner lining wicks away any moisture and dries quickly to maintain maximum comfort.
