Beverly Hills Police Hosting “TigerLight” Technology
The Beverly Hills Police Department is hosting several regional law enforcement agencies for the TigerLight Joint Departmental Training Day on Tuesday, April 8 at the Beverly Hills Police Department (the event is not open to the public). This informative presentation will display non-lethal weapons, such as the TigerLight. The Beverly Hills Police Department is exploring into the future where the movement nationally is placing greater emphasis on the use of non-lethal force as a law enforcement option. Many agencies, such as, Portland Police, Providence Police, US Air Force and others have tested and certified this unique weapon for service in the field.
The TigerLight www.tigerlight.net offers a combination of high-intensity flashlight with a hidden pepper spray compartment, allowing officers greater tactical mobility. Actor Alex Hyde-White (“Pretty Woman” and “Catch Me If You Can”) and musician Stuart Smith (“Sweet” and “Heaven and Earth”) will be in attendance. Stuart is a certified martial arts trainer for the LAPD and other law enforcement organizations and Alex is a spokesperson for TigerLight, the Utah based manufacturer of the Series I, II, III and the new civilian sized T-100 www.tigerlightusa.com currently in beta test for national launch this summer.
