VisionTEK FrontLine 6.0 - Siren Project Nears Completion
The VisionTEK development team is finalizing the new FrontLine 6.0 application suite for Mobile Data Computers (MDC). The new public safety software suite (codename Siren) incorporates all the features of the current FrontLine mobile data software and several additional customer requested enhancements, using the latest technologies of .NET. It serves as a state-of-the art platform upon which VisionTEK can soon add new functionality such as mapping and user-designed field reporting as defined in our product roadmap. The application is deployable over the web, which simplifies installation and updates.
The first version, due out this Spring, will provide first responders a new, more robust, feature rich Messaging application and Wants and Warrants query system.
