Potomac Field Gear Introduces ERT Line
Honaker, VA—Potomac Field Gear (PFG) today announced the expansion of their Advanced Protective Fabric™ (APF) technical clothing line with the introduction of ERT™ shirts.
The new ERT™ shirts combine all of the benefits of the standard APF line - fire resistant (FR), moisture wicking, anti-microbial, anti-odor and anti-static - with an integrated ERT panel designed to be worn under tactical or concealment body armor and any other load bearing gear.
The integrated ERT panel keeps the load off the body, allowing air to pass between the body of the wearer and the armor being worn. This promotes enhanced moisture wicking, improved air flow, cooling in warm climates and insulation in cooler climates.
Preliminary testing indicates that the shirt also provided addition benefits during incidences of overpressure and back face defamation of body armor.
Potomac garments, made from Advanced Protective Fabric™ (APF), have four way stretch and the feel of soft spun cotton. They are engineered to maximize comfort, performance and effectiveness. The patented fibers in our fabrics are highly reflective and help reduce damage from ultra violet radiation.
