BIO-key® and Radio Communications of Virginia Awarded Contract to Provide Mobile Data to Brunswick County, Virginia
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is the latest agency to choose BIO-key’s MobileCop™ offering to increase officer safety and efficiency
Wall, N.J. – BIO-key International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BKYI), a leader in finger-based biometric identification and wireless public safety solutions, announced today that, through its partner Radio Communications in Glen Allen, Virginia, it has been awarded a contract by Brunswick County, Virginia to provide mobile data connectivity between dispatchers and the sheriff’s office vehicle fleet. Brunswick County is the third Virginia county to select BIO-key’s MobileCop solution in as many months.
A largely rural county of over 550 square miles located in south central Virginia, highly reliable mobile connectivity is critical to the agency’s ability to provide effective service. MobileCop’s superior functionality will provide deputies in the field with a wide breath of capabilities for silent and secure data communication.
