Magnum Elite Series: A World Apart from the Competition

 The three styles in the Series, Elite 900 8" WP, Elite 900 8" Leather WP and Elite 900 6" Leather WP, feature highly advanced technological components. For breathability and waterproofing, the boot combines a Sympatex® membrane with a Dri-Lex® lining. ?GIS Microbe Shield® technology resists odor, mold, mildew, fungus, and bacteria. This technology kills microorganisms as they contact the surface. The effectiveness of the ?GIS Microbe Shield® does not diminish over time, providing proven protection for the life of the treated product.
The waterproof, full grain leather featured in the Magnum Elite Series exceeds global specifications. Both the Elite 900 8" Leather WP and the mid-cut Elite 900 6" Leather WP feature a waterproof all-leather upper, while the Elite 900 8" WP features a combination leather and 1150 denier nylon waterproof upper.
The lightweight, athletic styling of the Elite Series is exceptional. The new lightweight, high-traction outsole designed specifically for the Elite Series can be compared to a high-performance automotive tire, providing the ultimate in slip-resistance and performance. The polyurethane midsole provides the ultimate balance of comfort, support and abrasion-resistance. The use of a composite shank, as opposed to a steel shank, helps keep weight down.
Additional features include a slightly lower, more flexible calf area enhancing comfort while in the driving position. Improved laces utilize the blucher-lacing system, which allows for better width fitting. Blucher lacing is typically found on work boots as opposed to a more fixed width lacing system that is typically found on hiking boots.
