First Choice Armor Introduces Innovative Flotation Device

Brockton, MA. - International body armor manufacturer, First Choice Armor, has announced the availability of its TWO-MOV, short for Tactical Watreborne Operations- Marine Operator's Vest. The TWO-MOV is a unique bullet-resistant vest with a detachable, inflatable collar that renders the vest instantly buoyant.

The TWO-MOV was a collaborative effort between T.W.O.'s (Tactical Watreborne Operations') Founder and Director, retired U.S. Navy Chief Steven C. Bronson, and First Choice Armor.

Although ballistic-resistant vests with flotation capabilities are not new, the TWO-MOV extends the concept. Many armor manufacturers, including First Choice, already offer a flotation/ballistic type of vest. These combination vests were ground-breaking when first developed because they eliminated the inconvenient and often ineffective system of a bulky life jacket worn over a ballistic vest. The TWO-MOV goes one step further.

The TWO-MOV's inflatable collar snaps onto the ballistic-resistant vest in three places. The vest is available in two different versions: auto-impact inflate, which opens upon hitting water, or manual-pull inflate, which is activated by pulling a handle. It's non-intrusive, easy-to-use and much less expensive than purchasing two separate vests - one for land operations and one for water.
