Coming Soon: New Phantom V-Lite Line from Magnum
 Modesto, CA- Magnum USA recently unveiled its Fall 2004 collection of duty footwear, leading the way with the new Phantom V-Lite Collection. The Phantom V-Lite utilizes a revolutionary "vertical build concept" passionately devoted to stripping away as much weight as possible and incorporating advanced lightweight materials. A resulting benefit of Phantom V-Lite's construction: the ability to pass through metal detectors with no sensitivity.
Phantom V-Lite from the Ground Up: Phantom's outsole is made up of slip, oil and acid-resistant carbon rubber, well suited for grip. Positioned above the outsole unit is a compression-molded EVA midsole, made up of high-density phylon material for durability in the elements. Next, a dual-density lasting board replaces the traditional steel shank, enabling metal detector and x-ray friendliness.
Phantom V-Lite features the highest caliber sockliner in the industry: M-PACT (IMPRINT). This tri-density sockliner features three layers of comfort, utilizing viscoelastic memory foam -an open-celled, breathable material with pressure-relieving properties. The cells of the material literally shift position and reorganize to conform to the natural curvatures of your foot, filling every contour, then returning to its original shape once removed. This technology distributes pressure over the entire surface area instead of just on the arch of your foot.
The upper is made up of full-grain leather and denier nylon. The Phantom signifies the birth of a new circular side-zip, which travels along the eyestay. Not only is this design more aesthetically appealing, it is also more ergonomically efficient than typical side-zippers as it conforms snugly to the shape of the foot and ankle.
Topping off Phantom's unparalleled comfort is the Comfort Collar System, which also features viscoelastic memory foam. It's like having the upper of the boot custom designed to fit your body.
Finally, Magnum thought of everything when they replaced traditional metal eyelets, which often set off metal detectors, with durable plastic hardware.
