Air Force Approves TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System Flashlight

For Immediate Release - April 14, 2004

The Air Force Non-Nuclear Munitions Safety Board announced today that the TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System and Guardian PD™ pepper spray for the TigerLight® have been approved for Air Force use.

TigerLight HEBER CITY, Utah. - After two years of testing and evaluation, including rapid decompression tests from 40,000 feet and laboratory controlled heat resistance tests in which both the TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System and the Guardian PD cone and stream sprays performed in environments with temperatures exceeding 200 degrees Fahrenheit, approval was granted by the Air Force Non-Nuclear Munitions Safety Board.

"This is very significant" according to TigerLight, Inc. President and CEO Michael Teig, "because not only is the TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System available to all Air Force personnel, but until now, pepper spray was not allowed to be transported by plane, a serious disadvantage to Air Force operatives. Now, the pepper spray canisters used in the TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System can be transported while in the Tigerlight® or in separate containers and can be used wherever they are needed."

Major Robert Mckeand immediately announced the long awaited purchase by AFSOC of the unit. The TigerLight® Non-Lethal Defense System was the only tool that met the Air Force non-lethal requirement for a weapon that enabled the "simultaneous, synergistic application of lethal and non-lethal firepower."

This unit is very unique in that it is considered the only weapon that can be in hand, ready to fire, without escalating the situation, due to its stealth nature. Also, it is the only non-lethal weapon that allows you to have illumination, non-lethal and lethal capability all in your hands at the same time while being able to address multiple attackers and selectively apply lethal or non-lethal force.

Pricing Information
The product is available online for $159.95. Police discounts are available from local dealers. The TigerLight customer information number is 1-888-701-4500, or you may visit our web site at www.tigerlight.net.
