ITI's Jail Admin Software to Include Social Security Administration Report
Many state and local correctional institutions submit monthly inmate reports to the Social Security Administration (SSA). The SSA offers an incentive payment program that pays the agency whenever the report results in the SSA determining that a Social Security or SSI recipient is suspended as a result of information provided by the participating institution. Eligibility to participate in the incentive program requires each agency to enter into an agreement with the SSA. Information about the program is available from your local Social Security Administration office. ITI was recently contacted by the Social Security Administration regarding this reporting program. After reviewing the specifications for this report and discussing the need with several clients, we have decided to incorporate this report into our Standard and Enterprise Edition Jail Administration software.
In addition to producing the printed report, our Jail Administration software will produce an electronic file for submission to the Social Security Administration. It is our understanding that by producing this report on a timely basis, your agency may receive additional compensation from the Social Security Administration.
