Salient Stills Introduces SDI Capture Support, Automatic Demultiplexing and Speed Improvements in VideoFOCUS Pro 1.6
BOSTON - With the release of VideoFOCUS 1.6 Pro, Salient Stills continues to be a leader in creating innovative imaging processing software solutions that support the evolving needs of their customers.

SDI Capture
VideoFOCUS Pro 1.6 supports full frame uncompressed SDI video input. This allows media customers to integrate seamlessly with high-end professional quality video editing and playback equipment. By using SDI, law enforcement customers can be assured that they will capture all the information in a security/surveillance videotape.
Automatic Demultiplexing
VideoFOCUS Pro 1.6 now offers a robust, yet simple to use, video demultiplexing solution that avoids the need for specialized demultiplexing hardware. It is no longer necessary to sort through a confusing array of video frames - a time consuming and potentially flawed process. Through sophisticated image processing algorithms, VideoFOCUS Pro 1.6 recognizes and separates multiple camera views into individual streams of video without the loss of data. There is no need to spend time identifying reference frames, reference areas or individual cameras before starting. Once the video data is demultiplexed, camera views can be sorted, saved and enhanced to create clear video images.
Import and Speed Improvements
VideoFOCUS Pro 1.6 now supports the direct import of Quicktime and AVI digital video so the system can be used with previously digitized data. Operations such as splitting fields, cutting, cropping or copying sessions execute much more quickly, saving valuable time for the user.
