Telson GTX, Danner's Latest Uniform Service Boot, Features Cutting Edge EXO Platform
The Telson GTX, and its next generation EXO platform, is built for experts who demand strength without sacrificing speed.
PORTLAND, OR - The Telson GTX, featuring the most recent technical innovations from Danner, is built for elite law enforcers, military personnel and anyone else who demand athletic performance from their boots, yet are unwilling to compromise support or stability.
The foundation of the Telson GTX is the patent pending new platform, EXO . EXO combines Danner's famous quality and durability with the lightweight performance of an athletic shoe. By eliminating the standard shank system used in conventional boots and replacing it with a light TPU exoskeleton chassis, the new platform reduces weight, increases support, provides toe-to-heel flexibility and improves overall athletic performance. The result is a platform that provides long wearing comfort, reduces foot fatigue and makes a 12-hour shift seem a little more bearable.
To improve comfort, the Telson GTX features a lace-to-toe system that allows for the most precise fit. The boot utilizes abrasion resistant material at critical high wear points to protect the boot and the wearer from the daily rigors of uniform duty. The Telson GTX has an integrated GORE-TEX® breathable waterproof lining to keep its wearer dry and comfortable in the most demanding environment and situations. With a full-grain leather and Cordura upper and durable, street stable, outsole the Telson is build to last and handle everything that the job can throw at it.
The Telson GTX will be available in Men's sizes 7-15 D, 8-13 EE, with half sizes to 12. When it hits store shelves in January 2006, the Telson GTX will have a suggested retail price of $170 for the 6" version and $180 for the 8" model.
