N-Vision Optics Introduces The Night Strike Night Vision Monocular
At the Shot Show-2006 N-Vision Optics introduced its new high performance night vision monocular, the Night Strike. Developed based on experience of manufacturing night vision equipment for law enforcement and military, the Night Strike was created with a bigger objective lens, making it an ideal system for longer range observations.
It features a unique ergonomic design that allows very comfortable single-handed operation and dramatically minimizes the probability of user errors in extreme conditions. An ideal system for longer range night time operations, compact and lightweight, Night Strike can be weapon-mounted as a night scope or used while hand-held as a monocular.
The unit operates on one CR-123 battery to keep the weight to a minimum and guarantee reliable service at all temperatures. The monocular is equipped with a short range built-in infrared illuminator practically invisible to a human eye to assist with tasks that have to be performed in complete darkness.
The Night Strike is offered with a choice of highest quality Generation 3 or 2+ image intensifier tubes and is compatible with weapon mounted IR laser aiming and illuminating devices. Key features include: shock and water proof design, 2.5x magnification, and the Night Strike is so compact that fits in a pocket!
