Blauer Tactical Systems and Trident Concepts announce their second collaborative course: Extreme Close Quarters Fighting. The two-day course is March 7-8, 2013 at the Austin Police Department Training Academy in Austin, Texas and is open to active duty law enforcement and military.
This custom course will include S.P.E.A.R. System Counter-Ambush essentials. The focus will be protective measures against empty hand, knife and pistol attacks using the S.P.E.A.R. System protocol of “Clear, Control & Counter.” The counter measures will be based on Trident Concepts’ extensive experience with combative tactics at close quarters.

Course instructor and Trident Concepts founder, Jeff Gonzales, was a decorated and respected US Navy SEAL and worked in a variety of environments and capacities around the globe.
BTS founder Tony Blauer has been teaching law enforcement, military and civilians combatives for more than 30 years. His research into close-quarters combatives, combat psychology and counter-ambush tactics are used by police departments, tactical teams, military and special operations teams around the world.
