Video: Woman helps cop in roadside fight

The suspect began striking the officer and reaching for his gun and his TASER

DAYTON, Ohio — A woman in Ohio jumped into action Saturday to help an officer in a struggle during a traffic stop.

Dayton Police Officer Jonathan Seiter, 43, attempted to subdue 64-year-old Otto Coleman after pulling him over for a traffic violation. In the scuffle that ensued, Coleman began striking the officer and reaching for his gun and his TASER. He also tore the radio from the officer’s uniform.

“I was blessed, I was not lucky,” Seiter said of the woman in the video. “My parents made sure the angels were there to help.”

Police have not released her name, but she is believed to be in her mid 20s. They believe she may not want the attention.
