This accompanies this Safety Vision video on BluTube. A driver for Safety Vision client Redlight Wreckers had a close brush with death, recently. Attempting to tow an illegally parked vehicle from a Houston apartment complex, the driver was confronted by the vehicle's angry owner. After a heated exchange of profanities, the vehicle owner pulled a gun and fired several shots into the tow-truck's cab. One of the bullets lodged in the driver's seat, stopped by a small piece of metal embedded in the seat. That metal plate may have saved the driver's life. The entire incident was captured by Safety Vision onboard surveillance equipment, including interior and exterior cameras, a quad-screen video display monitor, and a mobile DVR. In this video, Redlight owner Christopher Hoffmeister re-enacts the shooting and shows us the bulletholes: This was one narrow miss! Police are still looking for the perpetrators.
