Ibis Tek Introduces Lighting and Safety Enhancements for Law Enforcement Vehicles
Butler, PA—Ibis Tek, LLC recently introduced several new products designed to enhance the use of law enforcement vehicles. These include Kevlar Ballistic Door Panels; a new Prisoner Transport System Seat; and three models of powerful HID spotlights. Ballistic Door Panels Made of Aramid fiber, an organic polymer (aromatic polyamide) produced from a liquid chemical blend, being spun into a solid fiber, the new Ibis Tek Ballistic Door Panel offers 16 percent more protective coverage and is 70 percent lighter than Ford’s factory options. Currently available for the Ford Crown Victoria, Chevrolet Impala and Tahoe and Dodge Charger, these panels are rugged, durable and undetectable; require no vehicle modifications; and can be self-installed. Prisoner Transport System (PTS) Seat Ibis Tek’s PTS Seat eliminates lengthy cleanup after prisoner transport. Made of scratch-resistant, high-density ABS or polyethylene, it does not retain odors or break down over time. The seat’s one-piece design eliminates areas for hiding contraband. Optional floor pan features two drain plugs to provide fast and efficient cleanup (Crown Vic only). HID spotlights, HID IR LED Spotlights and HID IR Spotlights with camera/DVR Ibis Tek’s new HID spotlights are a major upgrade to standard issue spotlights and provide a wider and brighter illumination path. In addition to using Xenon bulbs that provide 300 percent more light than halogen bulbs while drawing only half the power, HID spotlights last eight times longer than regular lights. The IR LED model can be used with night vision devices and includes a wireless signal dash-mounted display. The HID model with camera/DVR features an internal hard drive with USB port. About Us Ibis Tek was formed as a veteran-owned LLC in 1999 and manufactures and markets a range of military and security products.
