Ohio officer injured riding motorcycle after shift

MARION, Ohio - A Marion City Police officer is in critical condition at Grant Medical Center after being struck by a car while riding his motorcycle.

Officer Cory Winfield was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Prospect Street when he was struck near the intersection of Superior Street by a 1985 Pontiac Firebird driven by Joshua Abrams, 20, of Girard Avenue, at 1:12 a.m. Sunday.
