DGI’s CoBRA® deployed to Army V Corps by the CBDP Joint Program Executive Office

Alexandria, VA - Defense Group Inc., (DGI) has deployed its Pocket CoBRA® software and FieldScout computers to the U.S. Army's V Corps, whose mission is to train, equip, staff and rapidly deploy America's forward-deployed contingency force for military operations in support of peace or war. CoBRA® crisis management software provides decision support to first responders, emergency managers and military personnel. The CoBRA® FieldScout packages Pocket CoBRA® on the ultra-rugged Tactical Data System Recon Personal Digital Assistant. Following training performed by Defense Group Inc., a total of 40 CoBRA® software licenses and 40 FieldScout units were provided for use to V Corps Soldiers for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) response. The streamlined interface and unique collection of tools, guides, checklist, and SOPs in CoBRA® provide V Corps Soldiers the tools they need to accomplish their mission safely. The deployment was managed by the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD).

"Defense Group Inc., has an established history in providing chemical and biological defense support services to the Department of Defense. With the recent deployment of our CoBRA® software – both through the Joint Project Manager Guardian program and the Joint Project Manager Information Systems we have expanded this support to the most critical level, that of the Soldier on the ground," said Chris Boehm, CoBRA Group Vice President at DGI
