NYPD recruits will get iPods to study for exams
The New York Sun
NEW YORK — The police commissioner is hoping that police recruits nervous about upcoming exams on criminal procedure and penal law will relax and listen to their iPods.
In an effort to make studying easier on the more than 900 recruits, who must also master tests for strength, agility, and community relations before graduation on December 27, the police department is handing out iPods stocked full of coursework. The iPods will allow the police hopefuls to study without lugging around heavy textbooks.
