The L-3 AlertVU system can be a “stand alone” solution or it can be fully integrated with existing in-vehicle equipment. When a pre-existing L-3 in-car camera system is present, then that wireless communication solution and DES server can be repurposed. That means no new wireless infrastructure is required.
