Robert Lowe To Lead Federal Programs At ReconRobotics

EDINA, Minn.ReconRobotics, the world leader in tactical micro-robot systems, today announced that Robert Lowe has joined the company as manager of federal law enforcement sales. Lowe brings more than 30 years of military and law enforcement experience to ReconRobotics, including six years with the United States Air Force and three years as supervisor of the Special Assignment Unit at the Chandler, Ariz., Police Department. Most recently Lowe served as marketing manager for Nivisys, a company specializing in night vision systems for the law enforcement sector.

"Rob’s knowledge of tactical operations and his extensive contacts within federal law enforcement will serve him well as he leads our federal program initiatives,” said Aimee Barmore, Director of Law Enforcement Programs at ReconRobotics. “We are confident that his expertise will enable us to bring our life-saving tactical capabilities to a broad range of U.S. law enforcement personnel."

More than 2,000 Recon Scout® Throwbot® systems have been deployed by the U.S. military and international friendly forces, and by hundreds of law enforcement agencies, worldwide. The company’s Recon Scout XT weighs just 1.2lbs, and yet it can be deployed in five seconds and thrown up to 120 feet. During high-risk police operations, the Recon Scout system allows tactical teams to mitigate risk by revealing the internal layout of the enclosed spaces and fixing the location of armed subjects and innocent civilians.
