Routine Raids
Heat signatures left by criminals trying to evade capture during a raid can be easily seen, used to determine where they may be hiding and help give an estimation of how many criminals were in the property immediately before the raid.
Occupancy evaluation
During a vehicle pursuit, if the occupier/occupiers abandon the car and continue to run on foot, officers can use the camera to determine how many people were inside the vacated vehicle, thus continuing the chase with the knowledge of the number of occupants they are perusing.
Collision investigation
Argus thermal imaging cameras can help at various stages of a collision investigation. It can help locate the collision, identify the number of vehicles or passengers, as well as track the length of skid marks for the investigation team. You can even locate missing parts of the vehicle or missing passengers in the surrounding area.
