LEOs and immigration enforcement An opinion poll by the Pew Research Center indicates that 59 percent of Americans approve of Arizona’s new law cracking down on illegal immigration — according to Pew, only 32 percent disapprove. The bill is opposed by some in law enforcement and supported by others. Whichever side of the issue you’re on, it’s clear that SB 1070 has national — even global — implications.
