BART shooting raises issue of TASER confusion Video footage surfaced showing an Oakland, Calif. BART officer fatally shooting an unarmed man who was on the ground on a station platform on New Year's Day. PoliceOne columnist and Street Survival Seminar instructor Dave Smith indicates that there is growing consensus that the officer intended to deploy his TASER and mistakenly grabbed his firearm.
