More states tackle synthetic pot, 'bath salts' The possession and sale of so-called "fake" drugs like synthetic marijuana, bath salts and salvia is now illegal in Pennsylvania, and several other states are developing similar laws. "The burden the use of these 'fake' drugs puts on our police departments and hospitals is all too real," state representative Jennifer Mann said.
