Calibre Press to Offer New Leadership Tactics Course

Dallas, TX – Calibre Press, the top provider of law enforcement training nationwide, has announced that it will be offering a new course focused on leadership, the Calibre Press Leadership Tactics course.

The leadership course, which will be primarily for command staff and supervisors, will be led by instructor Bill Burroughs (BRIEF CREDENTIALS?). The new program will provide a framework for understanding group dynamics and stages of group development and how to match leadership style to group needs.

Upcoming classes include:

• Sunnyvale, CA hosted by Sunnyvale PD on August 10-11
• Harrisburg, PA hosted by Pennsylvania Game Commission on Sept. 27-28
• Harrisburg PA hosted by Pennsylvania Game Commission on Sept. 29-30
• Westminster, CO hosted by the Westminster Police Department on Dec. 1-2

“The purpose of the Leadership Tactics program is to provide a venue for senior-level officials of emergency response agencies to discuss the strategic and executive-level issues and challenges related to participatory leadership,” said Calibre Press Leadership Tactics Instructor, Bill Burroughs. “This forum is highly effective for sharing proven strategies, best practices and lessons learned.”
