This Mobile Command Center is forty feet long from bumper to bumper and is built on a Freightliner M2 chassis. The MCC features dual forward slide outs that create an expansive conference room with seating for up to 12 people. During a critical incident the staff in the conference room has full access to the satellite data terminal, mast mounted surveillance camera, cable news feeds and other communications devices. The radio room has four workstations and radio communications in the 800, UHF, VHF and amateur bands. Radio operators also have cellular and satellite data connectivity. Some of the other features of this vehicle include the exclusive LDV Intel-I-Touch multiplex control system, (2) 19" EIA equipment racks with 40 spaces in each, a modulated video system, CAT6 computer network with multifunction printer, a galley and much more.
