EL DORADO, Texas — Schleicher County sheriff David Doran said he wants to balance what he feels has been a propaganda campaign undertaken by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints against the Child Protective Services and state law enforcement agencies.
Doran describes the days following the April 3 raid on the polygamist sect's ranch as tense, but calm, and said all the ranch residents were treated with dignity and respect. |
