Okla. town's only officer killed in wreck

Tommy Reed, 60, died after his motorcycle veered off the highway

CHATTANOOGA, Okla. — An Oklahoma police chief was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday.

Tommy Reed, 60, was thrown from his motorcycle after it veered off a state highway, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Reed was Chattanooga’s only police officer, according to KFDA. Now, County Sheriff Kenny Stradley and his office will provide law enforcement for the town, which has about 460 residents.
