A 20-year-old Red Bank man wanted in connection with a shootout at his home last week surrendered to police early Monday morning after a 71/2-hour standoff with Chattanooga SWAT officers.

Dustin Frisbee, who according to Red Bank police was occupying both apartment 3 and apartment 7 at 1111 Dayton Blvd., had barricaded himself in the ceiling of apartment 3 about 10:30 p.m. Sunday when a patrol officer noticed the door was open and stopped by to investigate, Police Chief Larry Sneed said.

Two witnesses told the officer Mr. Frisbee was inside the apartment, but they could not tell police whether he was armed, Chief Sneed said.
