Calif. cops TASER, arrest hostile man in standoff

A driver who blocked traffic, threatened to kill a police officer and refused to leave his car for about 45 minutes was arrested Wednesday

CONCORD, Calif. — A driver who blocked traffic, threatened to kill a police officer and refused to leave his car for about 45 minutes was arrested after being Tased by officers, police said.

Around 5 p.m. Wednesday a Concord police officer saw a vehicle blocking a lane of eastbound Willow Pass Road, backing up traffic for about three blocks, Concord police Lt. Steve Dyer said.
