2 Ga. officers shot in standoff; suspect found dead

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The man who initiated an armed standoff beginning Thursday night has been found dead inside the home he'd been holed up in.

The standoff lasted more than 14 hours and caused a chaotic scene outside the house, where two officers were hit by gunfire after knocking on the door to serve a warrant at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
