PAWTUCKET, RI — A twice-convicted killer who served time for gunning down a Hub police officer and store clerk in separate incidents is being held on a mere $5,000 cash bail on charges he tried to mow down cops in Rhode Island, authorities said.
Kent County Superior Court Judge Edward J. Clifton set bail for Terrell Muhammad, 47, at $2,500 each on separate accusations he violated his probation and attempted to run down two officers during a chase last Friday, an official said.
Muhammad, 47, of Pawtucket, R.I., “intentionally swerved” his vehicle at two officers chasing him after he allegedly fled a traffic stop in Cranston, cops said.
