Video: Police chase shirtless man on forklift

Police say Timothy Raines stole his equipment from a construction site

By PoliceOne Staff

FORT WORTH, Texas — Video shows a drunk, shirtless man leading police on a chase – in a forklift.

Forty-three-year-old Timothy Raines is seen raising and lowering the forks as several police cruisers pursue the vehicle. Witnesses who videotaped the incident told KDFW that Raines was “chugging” beer when they passed him and appeared to be antagonizing officers by throwing beer cans at their patrol cars.

Raines, who police say stole his equipment from a construction site, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer, driving while intoxicated, and theft.
