Chasing Shadows

In his latest book, "Chasing Shadows: A Special Agent's Lifelong Hunt to Bring a Cold War Assassin to Justice" PoliceOne Contributor Fred Burton tells a story of agents, double agents, terrorists, and heroes caught up in a global effort to solve the murder of Josef Alon, an Israeli Air Force pilot who was gunned down in Burton's childhood neighborhood of Bethesda, Maryland, in July 1973. Burton, who is also the author of "Ghost: Confessions of a Counterterrorism Expert" explains how in 2007, by then a counterterrorism special agent for the Untied States Department of State, reopened the case and successfully pursued the killer. The book will be released on April 12, 2011 and is presently available for pre-order on sites like Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.
