KILLEEN, Texas — Two officers were shot serving a warrant at an apartment Friday.

According to the Killeen Daily Herald, a tactical response team and the Bell County Organized Crime Unit were serving the warrant when two occupants, a male and female, opened fire at officers.

The two officers were transported to a hospital, where one is in serious condition and the other is in good condition.

Both suspects were taken into custody.

“My heart just dropped. I heard shots, it sounded like a lot of shots just spraying,” said Danielle Joseph, a neighbor who lives near the apartment.
