HAZEL PARK, Mich. — A woman led police on a high-speed chase that ended with officers slamming into her vehicle in order to successfully stop the pursuit.
Charlotte Lundy, 35, was sought by officers who received a report that she had shoplifted from a Pontiac Walgreens, according to WXYZ.com. A sheriff’s deputy tried to pull her over and she fled.
A state police car is seen hitting her car, which had her 14-year-old daughter inside, sending it into the shoulder of the road where it flipped. Neither female was seriously hurt, sources said.
Lundy faces charges of theft, fleeing police, child abuse and endangerment.
