Video: Armed robber caught during foot pursuit by Ariz. police

Aerial footage catches the car-to-foot pursuit and capture

TUCSON – Police pursued a suspect first in-car, then on foot before catching the man, who robbed a store of money, alcohol and cigarettes.

Julio Martinez, 28, robbed a Circle K before jumping into a white Pontiac and fleeing the scene.  The pursuit was caught on tape by Pima County Sheriff's Department's air unit.

After hitting the road spikes set by police, Martinez fled his vehicle on foot, where he was caught, and arrested on charges of armed robbery, unlawful flight from law enforcement and possession of marijuana, according to News 4 Tucson.
