RIVERDALE, Utah — Police released footage from in and outside of a squad that was stolen by a suspect who was cuffed in the back seat but managed to slip out of the hand cuffs and drive off, barely missing an officer.

Gordon Graham had been arrested for stealing a pick-up truck before managing to maneuver his hands to the front of his body by stepping through his arms, then sliding the cuffs off and leaping into the driver’s seat before police noticed. The original video released last week showed Graham’s escape as he kept an eye on the officers.

An officer can be seen in the second video rushing to get out of the way of the squad.

Graham eventually ditched the squad and ran on foot, where he was caught and arrested, according to KSL.com.

No weapons or items were taken from the stolen police car.
