WEARE, N.H. — A fund set up for a Weare police dog diagnosed with cancer last month has received over $20,000 in donations.

Today, Weare Middle School students will present Mica, a 4-year- old Belgian Malanois, and her handler, Sgt. Joseph Kelly, an additional $850 to help her out. The kids started a collection box and raised the money independently of the school, said Jessica Potter, the school's assistant principal.
