CHICAGO — A man was arrested and charged with attempted murder of a police officer after biting and pulling two guns on a cop.

CBS Chicago reported that Jamie Harrison took off running after being approached by plainclothes officers. When an officer caught up to him, Harrison allegedly pointed a .38 pistol at the officer’s chest, according to Assistant State Attorney Jason Coelho.

Coelho said the officer was able to grab the gun and throw it over a fence, at which point Harrison pulled out a .22-caliber pistol from his pocket.

Harrison dropped the gun and the two continued to grapple, resulting in Harrison ripping the cord loose from the officer’s radio and biting the officer’s arm, according to Coelho. Harrison then tried to grab the officer’s weapon from its holster, but other officers arrived and subdued him.

Coelho said a Taser was also found in Harrison’s pocket. He was transported to the hospital for injuries suffered in the fight, and told the police he would have killed them if he had the time.

Cook County prosecutors said Harrison also told the police officer who arrested him that he was “coming after his b---- ass” if he got out on bond.

Harrison was ordered held without bond and faces charges of attempted murder on a police officer, aggravated battery, attempting to disarm a police officer and a weapons charge.
