SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Police arrested a man after he put soda in a water cup at a McDonald’s then refused to return the drink, 4029TV reported.
The suspect, 18-year-old Cody Morris, had gone through the drive-thru on April 18 and asked for three large waters. He and two other passengers then parked, went into the restaurant, poured out the water and filled the cups with soda.
The manager asked Morris and the other two people to return the soda. The two others complied, however Morris refused. All three attempted to flee.
The manager tried to stop them, even attempting to grab the keys out of the ignition. He also stood behind their vehicle, but was hit as they tried to leave.
Police found Morris at a bowling alley and arrested him. He was charged with felony robbery.
